The only structure remaining from the early days of the mill is the shed, probably built around 1850. As its the only thing left, this building is now known as "The Mill" although it's actual purpose during the mills lifetime is not known.
It was also built using locally manufactured bricks, and by the 21 century many of these bricks were disintegrating and the building was almost falling down. It features huge red gum beams inside which joints made with a high degree of craftsmanship. There is also a cellar the full size of the building.
